Grand Lodge Installation 2021


The Installation of Grand Office Bearers took place at Freemasons’ Hall on Thursday 25 November 2021.  A wonderful occasion was witnessed, safely and compliantly, by over four hundred in Grand Lodge assembled.  Numbers were restricted due to Covid but we all now see light at the end of the tunnel as the world continues to emerge from the pandemic.  It’s good to be back!!

The Grand Master Mason, Brother W. Ramsay McGhee, was very ably Installed into Office by Immediate Past Grand Master, Brother Charles I. R. Woolridge Gordon of Esslemont, who thereafter Installed the new Depute Grand Master, Brother James Bell, and Substitute Grand Master, Brother James C. Peddie.  The remaining Grand Office Bearers were Installed before Grand Lodge was closed and all present dispersed to toast their health in the hostelries of nearby Rose Street!!
