Scottish Freemasonry was represented as the funeral arrangements for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II got under way on Monday.The day began with her coffin making a poignant journey through the streets of Edinburgh.King Charles III led the Royal Family in a procession along the Royal Mile from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles Cathedral, where a service of thanksgiving to celebrate the life of the late monarch took place. The 40-minute ceremony was attended by the Grand Master Mason, Brother W. Ramsay McGhee,who paid respects on behalf of all Scottish Freemasons around the world.
