Slavery is a system that allows one person to own another human being as his property. A human being who is owned has the same status as any instrument or device that can be sold.
This system started before writing was invented, it became popular before the colonial movements in the world, especially at the end of the thirteenth century and the beginning of the fourteenth century.
The Freemanbase institute joins the entire international community to celebrate this 02 December as it is the day to end slavery in the world.
